Why learning Blockchain is important
One of the latest buzzes in the world is Bitcoin and technologies around it. Many people are talking about Bitcoin because of the price jumps happened last year and its price reached above $18,000 in just a few months. This made Bitcoin exciting for those who wanted to become millionaires overnight but also had a more important impact too!
In my opinion, that price elevation helped a lot to publicize the concepts of Blockchain and Distributed Ledger Technology more than before. Even those who are just interested in Bitcoin and are not technical, are now searching in Google to find a “Blockchain & Bitcoin Guide in Plain English” to understand how this magical money of the century operates and grows!
Nevertheless, most of the people still are not aware of other applications of Blockchain and what we call it the enterprise Blockchain applications. This is the exact point why learning this aspect of Blockchain is important for technologists and particularly who are working in the software industry.
The science of Blockchain and DLT is still young and is being developed by researchers and scientists, so you’re not that much late to the party; put this beside the fact that using these technologies will be broader in the coming years as many industries are finding better, faster and more secure solutions within Blockchain to switch their current infrastructures to.
